No. 13 MGCCC begins road trek

No. 13 Mississippi Gulf Coast begins a stretch of five straight road doubleheaders Monday, traveling to Raymond to play Hinds.

 

First pitch in the doubleheader is scheduled for https://www.hindsccsports.net/ at 3 p.m.

 

The Lady Bulldogs are on a roll, having won their last four games and eight of their last nine.

Last Time Out

    MGCCC swept No. 11 Northeast on Friday at Ross-Smith Field, winning 5-1 and 1-0. Kristen Cade (Fr., Harrison Central/Saucier) threw a five-hitter, and Avery Sanders threw a three-hitter. Kayla Cade (Fr., Harrison Central/Saucier), Camryn Williams (So., White Hall/White Hall, Ark.) and Betty Mingo homered.

    Hinds swept Coahoma on Friday in Clarksdale 10-2 and 12-1.

Previous Meeting

Gulf Coast dropped the first game of the doubleheader 5-1 against Hinds on April 19, 2018, at Biloxi High School, then bounced back to win 9-1 in six innings in the second.
