No. 9 seed Lady Bobcats meet No. 24 seed Three Rivers (Missouri) in NJCAA DI Tournament

ELLISVILLE – The Jones College Lady Bobcats know who they will face in the NJCAA Division I Tournament.

Head coach Missy Bilderback's team is seeded No. 9 and will play the No. 24 seed, Three Rivers (Missouri), at noon on March 18 in round one of the national tournament at the Rip Griffin Center on the campus of Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas.

Jones is 27-2 and was ranked No. 13 in the final regular season poll. The Lady Bobcats have won three straight MACJC and Region 23 championships and will be playing in the national tournament for the third straight season.

Jones is coming off a 68-57 win over Mississippi Gulf Coast in the region championship game.

Three Rivers is 27-3 and was rated No. 22 in the final regular season poll. They have won 20 games in a row. The last loss for the Lady Raiders was on Nov. 30 to Northeast Oklahoma A&M. They also have an 88-67 loss to the top seed in the tournament, 33-0 Wabash Valley College (Illinois).

The tournament bracket was announced during a live broadcast on NJCAATV.com on Monday morning.
